Larry Wood AIA Casp
Mr. Wood's experience includes design and construction documents for a variety of new buildings, additions, and historic buildings. He has provided these services for the University of California at Berkeley and Davis, the Cities of Redwood City, Pleasanton and Oroville, the Bay Area Rapid Transit System, AT&T, Contra Costa County, Bank of America, Wareham Development, McClier Corporation and several private homeowners and business people. Mr. Wood's projects often involve comprehensive architectural services, from preplanning to finished construction. His experience is diverse and includes institutional, residential, commercial, and public buildings. Recent large projects include the renovation of 617 Mission Street, an historic, 6-story office building in downtown San Francisco. This project included comprehensive architectural and full seismic structural engineering rehabilitation services. Mr. Wood led a large Project Team in providing for a complete renovation of the building, including the design of a new structural lateral system, accessibility improvements, the installation of a new foundation, mechanical and electrical systems upgrades, and renovating the building for prime office space and ground floor retail.
Louis Schiano AIA Casp
Mr. Schiano is experienced in all facets of the Architectural profession, including Accessibility barrier removal since 1994. While working at Corporate Headquarters for Simon & Schuster, Mr. Schiano was Chairperson for the ADA in the Workplace Committee. Mr. Schiano worked closely with Corporate Human Resources to develop procedures to remove Architectural barriers in the workplace. Since relocating to the San Francisco Bay Area in 1996, Mr. Schiano joined Wood Architects in December 1997, and has provided Accessibility ADA consulting services to Strategic Hotels, Denny restaurants, Bank of America, ConacoPhillips Corporation, Washington Mutual Bank, Sees Candies, Extended Stay Hotels, Motel 6, DSA Plan Reviews, California Attorney General, and many legal firms. Mr. Schiano is listed on the California Real Estate Services Division (RESD) roster to perform the California Lease Renewal Accessibility Survey for State leased or owned properties. Mr. Schiano has conducted accessibility surveys and prepared reports for facilities throughout California and the United States.
